John Solomon admits no evidence of election fraud in 2020, 2022, 2024

John Solomon, the conservative journalist tapped to lead a White House task force on election declassification, acknowledged in an interview with MS NOW that the intelligence community has found zero evidence that any foreign power flipped votes in the 2020, 2022, or 2024 elections—a striking admission that undercuts the core claims behind the administration’s election security push.

When pressed by MS NOW’s Vaughn Hillyard on whether he could acknowledge that no votes were changed in 2020, Solomon replied: “All I can acknowledge is what the intelligence shows. I only know—the intelligence community has zero evidence that a foreign power flipped the vote in 2020, ’22, or ’24.” He further stated that the intelligence is “very clear” that Venezuela did not tamper with U.S. voting machines.

Solomon, founder of the conservative outlet Just the News, was appointed as a special government employee in May 2026 to oversee the declassification of documents related to alleged election interference. His role has been central to President Trump’s effort to build a narrative of widespread election vulnerabilities ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

The admission arrives as the administration faces mounting skepticism about its election fraud claims. According to the New York Times, dozens of investigations, audits, recounts, and court proceedings examined the 2020 election and found no evidence of the widespread voter fraud Trump has alleged. Critics have characterized the administration’s 18-month investigation into voter fraud as a failure, according to reporting by CyberScoop.

Trump delivered a primetime address on July 16, 2026, in which he claimed election vulnerabilities and alleged interference by China and Venezuela, despite the declassified documents released alongside the speech offering no evidence to support those claims. When asked by Hillyard whether the 2020 results showing Biden’s victory were accurate, Solomon responded only that he was still researching the question.

Solomon’s public acknowledgment of the lack of intelligence evidence marks a notable departure from the narrative Trump has promoted. The intelligence community’s assessment has consistently contradicted the president’s claims about the integrity of recent U.S. elections, a divide that Solomon’s comments now make explicit.
