Increase in the production and consumption of electric power in Kosovo

24 September 2013 - Kosovo has produced 1.97 million ton of coal and 1,718.4 GW/h electric power from its plants. This is a 26% increase from the output of the same period last year.

The latest data published by “Power Balance” for April, May and June, indicate that Kosovo has also imported 2.1 GW/h electric power for three months, while it exported 393.1 GW/h.

Increases in output, however, have been met with increases in consumption in the second quarter of the year.
