Usher and Chris Brown bring The R&B Tour to Soldier Field tonight for the first of two sold-out shows in Chicago, marking another major milestone for what has become one of 2026’s biggest concert events. The co-headlining stadium tour pulled in over $100 million in gross revenue across its first eight venues, according to Pollstar, and is projected to reach approximately $400 million by year’s end.
The R&B Tour began in June with a show in Denver and has expanded significantly since its initial announcement in April. What started as a 33-date stadium run has grown to 59 total shows across North America, with Soldier Field becoming one of the few venues to host multiple nights due to overwhelming demand.

The tour represents a rare co-headlining partnership between two of R&B’s biggest names. Both artists will perform full sets during the two-night Chicago run, which continues through August 22. Doors open at 6 p.m. on both nights, with parking lots opening at 4 p.m.
Ticket availability remains strong across the tour’s remaining dates. The expansion to 59 shows reflects the sustained demand that has made The R&B Tour a commercial success early in its run. Pollstar’s projections, based on the first 20 shows that grossed $153.4 million from 863,336 tickets sold, suggest the tour is on pace to become a defining concert event of the year.

The tour’s success comes as both Usher and Chris Brown continue to draw massive audiences. The 59-show run extends through December, with stops at major venues including MetLife Stadium, AT&T Stadium, Hard Rock Stadium, and the Caesars Superdome. The addition of eight new dates in August signals continued strong ticket sales and fan interest in the co-headlining experience.
