The Pennsylvania Lottery will hold a Powerball drawing tonight with an estimated jackpot of $663 million, the largest prize of 2026 so far, after no winner emerged from Monday’s drawing.
The jackpot reached this level because no player matched all six winning numbers on July 27, causing the prize to roll forward and grow. According to Powerball, the jackpot increases by at least $10 million each time there is no winner, and with more players participating, the prize grows faster as more money is contributed to the pool.
Winners who claim the jackpot tonight can choose between the advertised annuity of $663 million, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump-sum cash option valued at $290.4 million. The drawing will take place at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The current $663 million prize remains well below the record for Powerball. The largest jackpot in the game’s history is $2.04 billion, won by a single ticket in California on November 7, 2022. The second-largest, $1.787 billion, was won in September 2025 after 42 consecutive drawings without a winner, making it the longest jackpot run in Powerball history.
Powerball drawings are held three times a week—on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings. The Pennsylvania Lottery, like all participating states, offers players the chance to win by matching five white ball numbers and one red Powerball number.
