Stephanie Ruhle launches her new morning show, Money, Power, Politics with Stephanie Ruhle, on MS NOW starting Monday, June 15, airing weekdays from 9 to 11 a.m. ET. The two-hour program marks a significant shift for the veteran journalist, who spent 14 years working in investment banking at Deutsche Bank before transitioning to broadcast journalism.
The show draws on Ruhle’s Wall Street experience and her current role as MS NOW’s senior business analyst. According to Deadline, the program will combine hard-hitting news coverage with marquee guest interviews and a fresh take on her signature roundtable format. The launch is part of a broader schedule overhaul that takes effect June 15, following MS NOW’s rebranding from MSNBC.
Ruhle’s move to mornings means stepping down from The 11th Hour, the network’s nightly news and politics program where she has been a fixture at 11 p.m. ET. Ali Velshi, who previously hosted MS NOW’s weekend coverage, will take over The 11th Hour in the 11 p.m. slot, according to Variety. The transition allows both anchors to expand their roles within the network’s weekday lineup.
Before her broadcasting career, Ruhle worked in financial services for Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank, where she served as a managing director in Global Markets Senior Relationship Management. Her background gives her distinctive credibility when covering the intersection of economics, business, and politics—the focus of her new daytime program. She has also been active in women’s leadership development, having founded the Corporate Investment Bank Women’s Network at Deutsche Bank.
The new show replaces the fourth hour of Morning Joe and the former Ana Cabrera Reports slot, positioning it as the centerpiece of MS NOW’s mid-morning block. The schedule reflects the network’s strategy to leverage Ruhle’s business expertise during market hours, when financial news and economic policy decisions drive daily headlines.
