7 Brew Coffee is opening 62 new drive-thru locations across 26 states in August, marking another surge in the Arkansas-based chain’s rapid national expansion. The openings span from Texas and Florida to New York and Wisconsin, with some locations already welcoming customers earlier this month while others are still rolling out throughout August.
The expansion underscores 7 Brew’s extraordinary growth trajectory. The Rogers, Arkansas chain had just 14 locations at the start of 2022 and reached 602 by early 2026—a 4,200 percent increase in four years, according to QSR Magazine. The company projects opening 447 new franchised outlets in 2026 alone, which would place it at the very top of net U.S. development in the coffee sector.

7 Brew’s speed-to-market advantage stems from its modular construction model. Each location averages just 510 square feet and is prefabricated before being transported and assembled on-site. This design allows franchisees to move from site selection to opening in roughly 90 days, compared to the year-plus timelines traditional coffee shops require. The drive-thru-only format eliminates indoor seating, further reducing build-out complexity and real estate costs.
The chain’s financial performance justifies its aggressive expansion. In 2025, 7 Brew’s 320 locations that operated the full year averaged $2.658 million in annual sales, with a median of $2.569 million, according to the company’s franchise disclosure document cited by QSR Magazine. That compares favorably to Starbucks’ $1.9 million average and Dutch Bros’ $2.16 million, despite 7 Brew’s much smaller footprint.
A 2024 growth equity investment from Blackstone accelerated the expansion. The private equity firm invested in 7 Brew to help the chain capitalize on what it saw as a shift in consumer preferences toward convenience-first coffee experiences. That capital infusion, combined with franchise agreements already signed, has enabled 7 Brew to commit to opening hundreds of locations annually.

August’s 62 openings represent only a portion of 7 Brew’s 2026 development. Texas alone is slated to receive 41 new locations this year, Florida 35, and both Illinois and Georgia 30 apiece. The company currently operates more than 700 stands across 38 states. If 7 Brew executes its 2026 plan without closures, the chain would surpass 1,000 locations by year-end, a milestone that would cement its position as one of the fastest-expanding restaurant concepts in America.
