Dunkin’ brings back 48-ounce iced buckets with new car cup holder

Dunkin’ is bringing back its 48-ounce iced beverage buckets starting August 7, 2026, alongside a newly designed cup holder that solves a common problem customers faced with the oversized drinks.

The buckets, priced at $12.99 each and filled with iced coffee or Refreshers of the customer’s choice, will return to participating Dunkin’ locations nationwide for a limited time while supplies last. This marks the second major rollout of the viral product after Dunkin’ began testing the buckets at select Massachusetts and New Hampshire locations in February 2026, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response.

During the initial market test earlier this year, customers made one thing clear: they wanted a simpler way to transport their buckets on the go. Dunkin’ responded by designing the new Iced Beverage Bucket Holder, a custom accessory engineered to hold a bucket securely while fitting into a standard car cup holder. The company began developing the holder while the test was still underway, accelerating the solution to meet demand.

The bucket holder will be available exclusively online for Dunkin’ Rewards members with Boosted Status beginning July 29, while supplies last. Boosted Status is unlocked by visiting Dunkin’ 12 times in a single calendar month, after which members earn 12 points per $1 spent for three months. The company has not yet announced a retail price for the holder itself.

The buckets can be filled with several options, including new beverages for this season: the Cherry Lime Rickey Refresher, a black cherry refresher paired with limeade; the Pink Pineapple Sparkling Refresher, made with pineapple, raspberry, hibiscus, and sparkling water; and Iced Coffee with Peanut Butter Swirl. Customers can also choose from Dunkin’s standard iced coffee and Refresher menu.

When Dunkin’ first tested the buckets in February 2026, the response from customers demonstrated strong demand for oversized beverage options. The May 2026 nationwide launch saw quick sellouts at many locations, with each participating store carrying only 25 buckets. The August return reflects Dunkin’s confidence in the product’s sustained popularity and its commitment to meeting customer expectations for convenience.
