Garth Brooks launches arena tour in August with tickets now on sale

Garth Brooks launched his “Blame It All On My Roots Tour” with tickets now on sale, marking a full-scale return to the arenas where the country music star built his legendary career. The tour kicks off August 21 and 22 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, with general ticket sales beginning Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster.

Every seat on the tour carries the same price: $154, which includes a $140 ticket, a $4 facility fee, and a $10 service charge, plus applicable taxes. According to ABC News, this uniform pricing removes VIP tiers and ensures affordability across the venue.

The tour revives Brooks’s iconic Drum Pod, a centerpiece of his 1996-1998 arena performances that redefined live concert production. “Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box,” Brooks said in a statement to ABC News. “The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal.”

Brooks’s 1996-1998 arena tour, known as the Drum Pod tour, left an outsized mark on music history. The recordings from those shows became Double Live, now certified 25 million times by the RIAA—the biggest-selling live album in recorded music history, according to Garth Brooks’ official announcement. That tour delivered back-to-back CMA Entertainer of the Year Awards and two Artist of the Decade honors.

There are no presales for the 2026 tour; all tickets go on sale simultaneously to ensure equal access. Fans are limited to purchasing up to eight tickets per transaction. Brooks will also record performances throughout the tour for Killer Live, a new live recording project that continues his tradition of capturing concerts in real time.
