Kosovo diaspora investing at home
Prishtina, 15 January 2008 - Forum 2015, a policy institute founded by Kosovo Soros Foundation and the Riinvest Insitute, has issued a report showing that 11% of Kosovars living abroad are interested in investing in Kosovo.
Further data provided by the forum informs that 10% of the general investments in the privatisation process in Kosovo are a contribution of Kosovars living abroad. Moreover, the report states that apart from consisting of a large number of people, the Kosovar Diaspora has the financial potential that can serve as an impulse for economic investment in Kosovo.
