Kosovo to have an office in Brussels
Prishtina, 15 January 2007 Prime Minister Agim Ceku said on Friday after a meeting with SRSG Joachim Ruecker that all preparations for opening an office in Brussels have been made.
The United Nations have agreed on this; the conditions have been created. The only thing that needs to be done now is to appoint our representative there, said Ceku, emphasizing that initially this would be a joint office with UNMIK until UNMIK concludes its mission.
The office will comprise one Kosovo and one UNMIK representative. According to Ceku, President Fatmir Sejdiu in consultation with the Negotiation Team would appoint the representative.
