World Bank to support further projects in Kosovo
Prishtina, April 21, 2005 World Bank (WB) representative in Prishtina, Kanthar Shankar said on Wednesday that they would assist Kosovo in four more important projects, including a project in the area of energy.
Shankar made those comments following a meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister, Bajram Kosumi. He said that the project in energy is foreseen to be funded with 10 million.
We have discussed with the Prime Minister for the past and the future projects. Since I have assumed the post here the WB has assisted Kosovo with 95 million, and we will continue with investments and technical assistance, he said.
