Prishtina, April 8, 2005 – Swedish Defense Minister Leni Björklund said in an interview with KosovaLive that Kosovo's final status should be resolved through peaceful means and satisfy all ethnic communities. She emphasized that the peacekeeping troops have not done enough in reconciliation of different ethnic communities, especially in reconciliation of Albanians and Serbs, for which, she thinks that will take quite a long time. "Sweden considers Kosovo is an important part of Europe and for this reason we will continue our presence here until the situation of security is quiet and stable, but we hope that not in a far future we will be able to reduce the number of our troops," she said.
